AUSTIN, TEXAS — March 11, 2026 — ICON, the global leader of construction-scale 3D printing and robotics, announced today the commercial launch of Titan, a next-generation multi-story robotic construction system designed to build at lower cost and with greater speed and quality.

Titan has been engineered to enable builders to deliver multi-story wall systems for roughly $20 per square foot, a potential 40% reduction compared to the national industry-reported averages for conventional wall systems*.

For the first time, builders and construction companies can acquire ICON’s integrated 3D-printing construction system. The Titan Program includes robotics, software, materials, architecture, training, and ongoing service empowering owners to deliver high-performance, high-design buildings at lower cost, with greater speed, and less labor.

“I don’t think it will be news to most people that the cost, speed, and quality of conventional construction is simply not delivering what the world needs from the industry right now,” said Jason Ballard, Co-Founder and CEO of ICON. “After nearly a decade of research, development, and field operations, we believe it’s time to put these technologies directly into the hands of other builders. The Titan program is for builders who want to deliver higher quality homes at faster speeds and with lower costs. These are tools for builders who are tired of the status quo, and want to be part of the solution.”

Reservations are now open for the Titan program and customers can request to join the list for a Titan system with a $5,000 deposit. ICON will offer financing options and customer training is expected to begin in Q3 2026, with first system deliveries anticipated in early 2027. Early reservations offer select incentives including priority access, preferred pricing, architectural services through ICON’s digital design catalog, permitting and regulatory support, training and extended warranty.

ICON has existing customers and partners spanning residential, commercial, and government sectors, with build partners positioned to construct hundreds of homes and structures using ICON’s technology suite. Early reservation holders for the Titan program are already developing plans to rebuild homes in California following the devastating fires, expand attainable housing across major metropolitan areas, and drive additional high-impact housing initiatives nationwide.

“Ghost Factory is built around the idea that the next generation of builders will be defined by agility, not scale alone,” said Spencer Padgett, Co-Founder of Ghost Factory. “By integrating Titan machines into our building platform, we gain the ability to stabilize structural costs, strengthen control over our supply chain, and move faster than traditional builders when conditions change. Combined with ICON’s technology ecosystem and support around architecture, permitting, and project logistics, Titan enables us to deliver higher quality homes at competitive price points while positioning our business to scale across our markets from Texas to California.”

Ballard continued, “In the future, I believe nearly all construction will be done by robots, and nearly all construction-related information will be processed and managed by AI systems. It is clear to me that this is the way to cut the cost and time of construction in half while making homes that more faithfully express the quality, values and hopes of the people who live in them. We are going to deliver the same velocity of ambitious technological breakthroughs that we’ve experienced in these past few years, and we know where we are headed. It’s only going to get better from here.”

To date, ICON has completed more than 245 homes and structures across affordable housing, market-rate developments, military housing, and commercial projects. With Titan, ICON will continue to innovate how homes are built, workers operate, and communities gain access to housing and homeownership. ICON plans to deploy Titan on multiple projects beginning with 3D-printed homes for the chronically homeless at Mobile Loaves & Fishes’ Community First! Village, a 35-foot-tall 3D-printed church in Texas designed by Overland Partners, and a 60+ home multi-story development in Austin designed by BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group.
