As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of information technology systems. You’ll manage current processes and build new ones to support ICON’s high-visibility work as we 3D print homes on Earth, develop space-based construction systems for the Moon and partner with leading architects, designers, developers and organizations like NASA. You’ll have a critical role in supporting IT operations and enabling our team to have an impact on our customers, investors, and the community.
Work cross functionally with leaders in Operations, InfoSec, Control Systems, Engineering, Software, Communications, Finance, and other departments.
Articulate to stakeholders value of recommended solutions and approaches.
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and other procedures to ensure ICON’s IT practices are both repeatable and defensible.
Build and maintain IT asset tracking processes and tools.
Participate in technology evaluation and recommendations.
Build and maintain the System Security Plans (SSPs).
Perform system maintenance duties, ensuring enterprise applications are kept current with vendor releases, patches and other requirements.
Provide input into the development of short – and long – range IT strategy.
Lead IT Help Desk and provides technical support to end users.
Handle hardware and software problems, incident investigations, and provisioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve network related issues in both LAN and WAN environments.
Manage provisioning/deprovisioning processes for all enterprise systems and applications.
Manage physical access controls and Video Management System (VMS).
Implement the policies and procedures to support the organization's information security goals.
Support ICON’s Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure and ensure its properly integrated with IT.
Support InfoSec in the deployment and management of security controls, compliance requirements, and other security initiatives as required.
6-8 years’ relevant IT experience.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience with proven administrative responsibility.
Experience with cloud and on-prem IT infrastructure.
Must have experience with cloud configuration and management within the industry-leading cloud storage environments.
Must have a functional understanding of information security concepts of Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability as well as cybersecurity technologies/functions such as IAM, Vulnerability Management, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, SIEM, CASB, BC/DR, etc.
Proactively collaborate with all levels in the organization to identify business functions and processes that can be improved by applying information technology.
Experience in solving both business and technical problems, training, and developing detailed business requirements is also preferred.
Must possess strong organizational and project management skills.
Must possess mastery of networking, operating systems, WAN/LAN connectivity (routers, firewalls, switching), VPNs, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and other Information Technology functions.
Must have the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and learn new business systems quickly.
Must be skilled in taking initiative and operating with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational skills are essential.
Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field
Industry-recognized IT or Cybersecurity certifications
Operational Technology (OT) experience
