Inventory Associate

ICON is seeking an inventory specialist to work in a team environment to support all manufacturing inventory activities, including receiving, stocking, kitting, and all other material handling. This role will be based in our Austin, TX manufacturing facility. 


  • Follow inventory management processes and procedures
  • Process incoming material from deliveries. Inspecting for kind, count, and condition
  • Support stocking material in appropriate warehouse locations ensuring all items are effectively identified and protected
  • Kit required material to support manufacturing assembly and fabrication in an organized fashion
  • Work with warehouse management to optimize part warehouse for picking
  • Relocation of material with the facility as change to layout arises
  • Support implementation of inventory management business software system
  • Safely drive forklift, electric pallet jack, and manual pallet jacks to accomplish material handling tasks


  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse or inventory management environment
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors and team to determine material requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to remain on feet for extended time periods
  • Have a detail oriented mindset to ensure part count accuracy
  • Some ERP/MRP experience preferred
