Cost Accountant


We're looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join the Accounting team, and support the our manufacturing activities as well as other ancillary accounting functions.  The right candidate will have experience with early-stage companies and an ability to help us build systems for growth.  


  • Responsible for monthly financial close of costing related activities, account reconciliations, and reporting and analysis of various key metrics.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of our inventory module and other costing metrics within our ERP, Intacct.
  • Create and implement documented processes for inventory and fixed assets.
  • Develop and regularly review rates for materials, direct labor, indirect labor, and overhead.
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide value added analysis.
  • Analyze production costs, standards, profit margins, etc
  • Oversee annual physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Assist with annual financial statement audits; interact with outside auditors to support the year-end audit process.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in general or cost accounting
  • Manufacturing, construction, and/or technology domain knowledge required
  • Familiarity in creating and automating processes to create efficiencies
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with the team


  • Experience with Sage Intacct ERP strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in Excel: Pivot Tables, Lookups, and creating reports
